Coldplay? really?

They beat the White Stripes last night? The White Stripes are the only interesting thing in the mainstream MTV rock circuit going on right now.

Look, Coldplay is not good. Coldplay is Radiohead for stupid people. If you got all upset after buying Kid A, your next move was to notice Coldplay on VH1 and feel better about yourself.

Here's an analogy :
Coldplay is to creative pop music as that Monster's Ball movie is to jerking off ; sounds promising, but by the time it gets to the point, you're too dead inside to bother.
